riding gear
when riding an atv its best to use the right gear to prevent injuries. mostly all you need gear for is if you are racing. not so much for just range riding. first of all a helmet is a must if you dont want cracks or bumps in your head. besides a helmet you should use a chest plate to protect your ribs and chest, racing boots to protect your ankles, goggles to protect your eyes from dust and rocks, and gloves. if you wear all of this equipment then your risk of injury is reduced by alot. even if you are just drivin your atv it is still a good idea to wear a helment incase you roll your atv over on top of you.

Wow! i didnt know that about ATV's. Riding gear is very important to the safety of the rider. I think i might learn alot by reading this blog this semester!
ReplyDeleteUhm. Yeah. I think you should probably also wear some protective stuff when your just riding around in a field because when i was younger my brother and i were riding around. I was driving an we were going real fast and I dont really know what happened, but somehow he got pulled off and the four wheeler drove over him and slammed his face in the ground. He was in the hospital for a long time, and he actually almost died. He was in a full leg cast for a long time too. It was pretty bad.
ReplyDeleteNathan this was very good information. Where do you find all this riding gear at? When you ride do you wear all this gear?
ReplyDeleteMy cousins and I were riding four wheelers one day, and Phil's flipped backwards. Luckily, it didn't land on top of him because he was not wearing safety gear.
ReplyDeletehmmm i agree with ben. i could learn alot from this blog. i will keep checking it out!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're recommending that people wear riding gear. What are some of the minor injuries that are common when riding that wearing gear will prevent?
